DESPITE THE COVID-19 CRISIS,
THE INTENSITY OF WORK
INCREASED ON ALL 150 GRAND
PARIS EXPRESS SITES
In 2020, payment appropriations for Société du
Grand Paris amounted to €3.6 billion (+19% compared
with 2019), reaching a record level of expenditure.
The €2.1 billion spent on the Lines under its direct
control and €0.5 billion on Line 14 South (not under
its direct control) are a clear indication of work
on the Grand Paris Express ramping up in 2020.
Société du Grand Paris has invested €21.2 billion
in the Grand Paris Express since 2010 and has
contributed €3 billion to several modernisation
projects for existing metro and RER lines as part
of its transport mobilisation plan.
Société du Grand Paris continued its support
for several modernisation projects on the existing
metro and RER networks with €509 million in
contributions as part of financing agreements with
the Île-de-France region, the State, local authorities,
and transport operators.
