Testimonials and discussions -
even remotely Société du Grand Paris also worked with
ONISEP to develop an educational project
about Grand Paris Express jobs entitled
“Les métiers du Grand Paris Express en images”.
The aim is to introduce local training courses
and future careers to secondary school
students on the general, professional and
vocational tracks in the three Île-de-France
school districts.
As part of this collaboration, Société du
Grand Paris and ONISEP have been
distributing “Pourquoi pas moi? Les métiers
du Grand Paris Express”, a magazine
that describes the unusual careers of
12 professionals working within programme
management and construction companies
on the new metro’s worksites. The approach
is based on bringing together Grand Paris
Express professionals and the educational
community. This takes the form of
testimonials and discussions during live
chats or webinars to help young people learn
more about the careers available.
#1jeune #1mentor Raising awareness among young people,
particularly young women, of the professional
opportunities offered by the Grand Paris
Express is also reflected in the fledgling
internal community of mentors and
representatives called Capital Filles that
Société du Grand Paris has chosen to join.
The community’s mission over the course
of the school year is to support a mentee or
raise awareness among groups of female
secondary school students from nearby
schools located in urban policy
neighbourhoods.
